Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hope everyone is having a Happy Valentine’s Day! I wanted to share some super easy, super cute, crayon waxed paper hearts that my sons and I made over the weekend. We found theses waxed paper crayon hearts via Pinterest. They were made by who else but, Martha Stewart. Though ours don’t look exactly like Martha’s, I thought they turned out great and I love them in our window. It blocks some of our ugly view 😉 (and no, that is NOT my house!) Though Martha uses thread to hang her hearts, we thought white ribbon would look nice. We were right. I love the white against the color of the melted crayons!

If you’d like to make these today for a last minute Valentine’s Day craft, you can find Martha’s instructions here. One tip: if you fold the waxed paper, when you are finished, in order to cut the heart shapes; you will get wrinkles. Just re-iron lightly and those wrinkles will disappear. Happy Crafting!
